THE THUNDER ORGANIZATION:

The Thunder on the Avenue, Inc. Organization is a group of local motorcyclists who have come together to establish, organize and run the biggest charity motorcycle event in Cumberland County New Jersey.

The organizations goal is to continue to put on family oriented motorcycle events and to help national and local charities through our fund raising efforts.

We are registered with the State of New Jersey as a Non-Profit Organization.

In 2005, we donated over $6000 to the Spirit & Truth Ministries so they could continue to feed and cloth the areas homeless population.

In 2006, we donated $2500 each to the Boys & Girls Club of Vineland and the South Jersey Youth Alliance to assist the local youth.

In 2007, we donated $7200 to the Brain Injury Association of New Jersey to assist patients who have suffered a brain injury due to a fall, motorcycle accident, etc.

In 2008, we donated $6750 to Devereux New Jersey Center for Autism. They serve children ages 5 to 22 who are diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder and/or multiple disabilities. They have learning centers in Bridgeton and Mayslanding.

In 2009, we donated a total of $12,000.
$7000 to the University of Pennsylvania Lung Cancer Research Center. The diagnosis of lung cancer, mesothelioma, or a related malignancy once came with little hope for long-term survival. Today, that is not necessarily the case. Despite being one the the least funded areas of cancer research, diagnostic and treatment advances continue to be made at the University of Pennsylvania Lung Research Center, giving people with lung cancer more hope.
$5000 to the Lung Cancer Alliance which assists and supports cancer survivors and their families.
